Upon completion of the course, students will be able to:

• Identify the residential construction process and code requirements related to energy compliance.
• List what information is needed by the code professionals Identify the relationship between proper submittal documents and field inspections.
• Identify the relationship between proper submittal documents and field inspections.
• Summarize MR1322 (Minnesota Residential Energy Code) and the relationship to the International Residential Code and related codes.

This course has been approved for one hour of MN residential contractor, remodeler, and building official continuing education by the Minnesota Department of Labor & Industry and includes the required Energy credit.
