This year's annual Green Path Building Conference features top experts in green building, including Jesse Sabota with ICF/High Efficiency New Homes Program, Michael Anschel with OA Design + Build, Kevin Byrnes from Arcxis, Eric Boyd with Arcxis, Rick Cobbs with The Energy Network WW, and Pat O'Malley with Building Knowledge.

He has a BS degree from the University of Minnesota in Construction Management.

This sesson looks at wall assemblies that are resilient and prepare contractors to meet the future code requirements around exterior insulation. We will look at the challenges presented by thick exterior insulation relating to air pathways and the implications for flashing tapes, WRBs, and window installation. We will also look at the use of ventilated rainscreens behind all claddings, and how to avoid potential problems. Finally we will look at open claddings, their performance, and the steps required to make them work.
