Moisture Management in Tiled Showers (WI Contractor Credit Only)
Length: 1 Hour
Leaks and mold continue to pose serious problems for the construction industry. This course compares traditional waterproofing systems with modern waterproofing technology to show how tiled showers have evolved. The fundamentals of both approaches, including proper design, execution, and function are presented, with close attention paid to common errors, as well. The benefits of bonded waterproofing technology and how it has improved tiled showers are stressed.
Note: This course is only approved for WI contractor credit.

As Director of Education & Training, Andy oversees Schulter's education program and is the lead presenter at Innovation Workshops. His focus is developing workshops and classes that provides the tiling community with access to industry-approved tiling methods. Before joining the company in 1997, Andy was a tile installer for 20 years, with more than half of his experience as a California state C-54 licensed contractor. Andy also serves on the board of directors of the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF).
