Managing Subcontractor Liability
Length: 1 Hour
This legal based course is taught by licensed Minnesota and Wisconsin licensed attorney Bill Gschwind. Misclassification of employees subjects the employer to liability for worker’s comp, unemployment, payroll taxes, and income tax withholdings, plus penalties and interest. Government agencies don’t care what the parties call each other; they will look to their operating relationship to determine employment status.
Course Outline"Bill Gschwind is especially knowledgeable about the topic of the GC-to-Sub relationship and he expanded my understanding of how important it is to manage those relationships properly for the protection of both me and my business." Scott Stankey, Resonate Homes
"A very helpful review that reinforces the need for these agreements." Michael Peters
"This information is critical for me as a General Contractor."
"The course was well explained." Thomas Carlisle, Sherco Construction, Inc.
